Foundations for Success Learning Pod

A small-group learning experience designed to build the skills young learners need to thrive. Students develop early literacy (letter recognition and sounds), foundational math skills (numbers, counting, problem-solving), and essential social skills (taking turns, following directions, and participating in group activities).

Why Is It Spelled That Way? Learning Pod
Dates: Thursdays 1:30-2:30, June 1 - July 31, 2026
Cost: $80
Prerequisite: Reading independently on a 4th grade level
Class size: 6
Parents—do you ever hear your child confidently say, “That’s how it sounds, so that’s how it should be spelled”… and then immediately think, but why is it actually spelled like that?!
This small-group learning pod is designed to take the mystery (and frustration) out of written language. Students will learn spelling rules and patterns, build a stronger vocabulary, and develop neat, legible handwriting that supports clear written communication.

Board, Not Bored, Games Learning Pod
Dates: Thursdays 2:45-3:45pm, June 1- Juy 31, 2026
Cost: $5 per class registered
Ages: 12-17
Class size: 6
In this casual learning pod, we will enjoy playing games, learn the rules of games, and the etiquette of winning and losing. Each week will follow a theme. (Register and pay for the classes your child is interested in joining)
Week 1: Decks, Dice and Domino Games (Uno, Dos, Yahtzee, TriOminos and more)
Week 2: Checkers, Chess and Chinese Checkers
Week 3: Drawing Games (Pictionary, Telestrations and more)
Week 4: Word Games (Scrabble, Upwords, Boggle)
Week 5: Classic Games (War, Jacks, Pick Up Sticks, and more)
Week 6: Strategy Games (Risk, Ticket to Ride, Cat Crimes)
Week 7: Active Games (Twister, Throw Throw Burrito, Happy Salmon)
Week 8: Classic Board Games (Monopoly, Life, Sorry)

Who were the artists bold enough to change the world with a paintbrush, pencil, or imagination?
In this learning pod, students will dive into the lives of famous creators featured in the beloved I Am and Who Was? series. From painters and sculptors to illustrators and innovators, learners will discover how these artists overcame challenges, developed their unique styles, and left lasting marks on history.
Each session blends reading, discussion, and creativity.
