Meet Monica

Monica J. Crandell Stone, M.Ed, has dedicated more than 33 years to helping learners of all ages thrive. Her work has included roles in elementary classrooms, administration, preschool, childcare settings, higher education, and professional development training.

But Monica’s most important role is being an advocate for her three children. Championing their educational and quality-of-life rights ignited her passion for helping other families do the same.

Her Approach

Monica believes that learning starts with relationship. She takes time to build trust before asking learners to stretch into hard tasks. Through games, multi-sensory activities, and engaging strategies, she makes learning enjoyable while helping each student move closer to their educational or vocational goals.

Her practice is guided by neuro-affirming and trauma-informed principles, creating a safe and supportive space for diverse learners.
